HILLS & VALLEYS
Theme for Encounter 2026
How do we serve when we are hurting? When there is so much uncertainty, and a world full of the unknown... Does God care to hear of my struggles? Can I trust those around me? Does God want honesty from me or to put on a fake smiley face? Join us as we think through all of this, and talk about our emotions and the ups and downs of life, and how to navigate through it by following God through the good, the bad, through the hills and valleys.
Join us on the snowy slopes of Mt. Monadnock for the ultimate in frozen fun and winter chill.

Here's how to register for winter camp:
Tell us about your group.
Fill out a simple form telling us about your group and your estimated number of campers (your best guess is fine). We require a $25 deposit per estimated camper to hold your spot.
Your deposit also locks in your early bird rate for all group members. Final payment for all students is due upon arrival at camp.
Adjust your group size as needed.
You can add new campers to your group anytime, as long as space allows. Any new campers added to your group will receive the early bird rate when you register your group before October 31.
You can also remove campers from your group if your group size changes with no penalties up to 8 weeks prior to camp. Your deposit for any removed campers will also be refundable during this window of time.
If you are an individual signing up as part of a group, you can register at https://monadnock.campbrainregistration.com
Have questions? Want to talk to a camp consultant before signing up?
Email us at or call us at 603-744-6344.
Is winter camp only for groups?
Yes, Encounter at Camp Monadnock is designed around group activities and group bonding. However, we welcome all kinds of groups, from church groups to parent-led small groups.
Do I have to be affiliated with a church to register?
No! Though youth groups/student ministries make up a large percentage of our attendees, we love welcoming parent-led groups as well. If you’re A. a group and B. of youth, we’re here for you!
Is there a minimum group size?
Nope. We follow Jesus’s definition of “if two or three are gathered.” :) Each group is required to have at least one leader per group, so the smallest group possible is one parent and one student.
How many chaperones are required for each group?
We require a ratio of 1 leader per 10 students. Groups must have a leader for each accommodation, so if you bring both male and female campers, you must also bring a male and female leader.
What ages can attend winter camp?
Encounter weekends are for junior and senior high students (6th-12th grade).
How long is winter camp?
Encounter takes place over a weekend, from Friday evening to Sunday noon.
What time is arrival and departure?
Groups arrive between 7:00 and 9:00pm on Friday evening and depart Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm.
What are the housing arrangements? Will my group be housed together?
Your group will stay together, with at least one leader in the cabin, in dorm-style housing with bunks in one of our winterized lodges. Cabins are separated by gender.
Are meals included?
Yes, all meals are included, starting with breakfast on Saturday and going through lunch Sunday (5 meals total). Our chefs are all ServSafe certified.
How do I register my group?
Fill out a simple form telling us about your group and your estimated number of campers. We require a $25 deposit per estimated camper to hold your spot. Your $25/person deposit also locks in your early bird rate for all group members when you register by October 31. Final payment for all students is due upon arrival at camp.
If you are an individual signing up as part of a group, you can register at https://monadnock.campbrainregistration.com/.
How do my students register?
Once you register your group, we’ll provide you with a registration link to send your students who plan to attend camp. This is where they will fill out health forms, waivers, etc.
We do not collect payment from students when they register. Group leaders are responsible for collecting payment from their group members and paying the balance for all campers in their group upon arrival at camp.
