Women’s Retreat at Camp Monadnock

Renew. Rejuvenate. Restore.

A place for women to disconnect from daily life and reconnect to God and each other

As women, the demands of life often keep us focused on what is urgent instead of what is eternal. The roles we play and the responsibilities we carry can leave us stuck on autopilot and longing for something deeper—a deeper knowledge of God and deeper connections with others.

Women’s Retreat is your annual refuge, a time to find restoration for your soul and reset your rhythms each spring and/or fall. Enjoy a beautiful escape into nature, powerful worship and teaching, and a deep sense of belonging as you connect with God, yourself, and others in a beautiful natural setting.

Women’s Retreat is for you if you want to:

  • Disconnect from what is normal and reconnect to what matters
  • Reset from your daily life and establish a new rhythm
  • Worship God in community and experience deeper spiritual connection
  • Build relationships with Christian women from all around New England
  • Be filled with fresh spiritual and emotional energy to pour into your family, friends, and coworkers
  • Gain a new perspective that you will carry with you all year long

Perfect for individuals, friends/families, and church groups!

What to expect at Women’s Retreat

Wake up slowly and sip a cup of coffee on the porch of a cozy New England lodge before heading to a leisurely breakfast (that you didn’t have to cook) with new and old friends.

Days at Women’s Retreat are a mix of fun activities, spiritual encouragement, and time to pause, breathe, and be. Morning and evening sessions include biblical teaching from a featured speaker, powerful worship, and space for meaningful conversation with other women. Between sessions, enjoy classic camp activities like swimming and archery, as well as special curated events, like a wagon ride to iconic “one tree hill” where campfires, hot cider, and connection time await.

From intimate fellowship to heart-pumping adventure, all activities are optional and every detail is planned for you so all you have to do is show up and let God speak to your heart.

What’s included:

  • Lodge-style accommodations for two nights*
  • All meals, from Friday dinner through Sunday brunch
  • Daily chapel sessions with worship and teaching from our featured speaker
  • Access to all camp activities (crafts, nature walks, swimming, skeet shooting, archery, etc.) + special activities curated just for you

*Off-site rates are available for those who do not want to stay at camp but would like to participate in meals and activities.

When does Women’s Retreat take place?

Women’s Retreat takes place from Friday evening through Sunday morning. We offer one weekend in May and two weekends in October each year, so you can choose the time of year that works best for your schedule.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Check-in begins at 4:00pm Friday, and the retreat wraps by noon Sunday.

What ages can attend Women’s Retreat?

Women’s Retreat is designed with women 18+ in mind, and no one under 18 is allowed to attend the retreat without a parent or guardian. Mothers can bring their teenage daughters with them at their discretion (minimum age to attend is 13 years old).

Read more about our adult retreat age policy here.

What type of accommodations are available?

Attendees will stay in the Ark Lodge, a beautiful historic lodge with a large porch, rocking chairs, indoor pool, and dining room. Rooms in the lodge are dorm-style, housing up to 18 women. This is an amazing way to make new friends, connect deeply with others, and experience the unique communal vibes of Women’s Retreat. At registration, you can choose between an in-room bathroom or a shared hallway bathroom, and we accept roommate requests for those coming with friends or a church group. Each attendee is responsible for bringing their own bedding.

We also offer private accommodations for those who prefer more personal space. Availability is very limited for private rooms, so we recommend registering early if you want your pick of accommodations.

If you don’t want to stay on-site, we also offer retreat-only tickets, where you arrange your own accommodation.

Can you accommodate roommate requests?

Yes, if you’re coming with friends or family, you can request to be housed with them. We also do our best to host church groups together in the same room block.

I don’t know anyone else who is going. Will I feel awkward if I come by myself?

Not at all! Getting away solo can be a wonderful way to recharge, and there are so many opportunities to connect with other women at the lodge, over meals, at chapels and group discussions, and during shared activities. At Camp Monadnock, we create an environment of authenticity and belonging, and we program our retreats to leave lots of open space for relaxation and organic connection.

How do I bring a group from my church?

We love church groups of all kinds! If you’d like to bring a group to Women’s Retreat, fill out this form to let us know you’re coming. We’ll reserve a block of housing for your group. The women in your group will still need to register and pay individually to attend.
